PF London: Regional Officers & Events Team
Structure
PF London District is comprised of 5 regions. The formal administration & management is carried out by PF appointed Officers- A District Manager & Regional Coordinators. The District Manager (DM) is responsble for and oversees all formal links between PF council & committees and their respective Districts, passing on important news, guidelines, initiatives, feed-backs, campaigns etc. A Treasurer is appointed and handles all formal accounts and reports to DM & the PF.
Regional Coordinators cultivate and maintain direct links with PF members `in their’ regions, handling membership forms and enquiries. RCs also facilitate local moots and other regional events when possible. RCs keep a link between PF members & DM.
In addition, each District operates their own unique ways of organising events, rituals, conferences, camps, campaigns, fundraising, media contacts, Newsletter, websites, forums etc. Most of these work is coordinated by DM & RCs and tasks are delegated to willing volunteers. The `Events Team’ (often managed by an Events Organiser / Manager) handles these delegated tasks.

PFL Deputy District Manager
(District Manager since July’10)
Hi, I’m Mike Stygal. I’m Deputy District manager for Pagan Federation London. That means I help Jean to keep Pagan Federation London running.
In addition to holding the DDM position, I am also the Community Liaison officer, which involves liaising with communities, organisations and official bodies outside of the Pagan community as well as within the Pagan community, Inter faith work and other activities aimed at promoting a positive understanding of Pagans and the various Pagan paths they follow.
I’m also the events coordinator- a job that essentially involves me arranging or overseeing the arrangement of the many events we put on over the course of each year as part of the service we offer Pagans in the London area.
I’ve been following one Pagan path or another since 1986, following a path exploring the application of shamanic techniques to our modern landscape since 1997. I’ve also been involved in interfaith activity on a local, national and international basis since 2002.
A firmly believe that Pagan Federation London is here to try to serve the London Pagan community. In order to do that to the best of our ability, we benefit greatly from active involvement from members of that London Pagan community. So I will often be heard to ask for volunteers to help out and for members to share their thoughts, projects and needs. So if, after reading this, you feel you have something you’d like to help us with, or you’ve some thoughts, ideas or a project you’re involved with, or if you’ve an issue you think we might be able to help to resolve then please get in touch.

PFL District Manager (retired in July’10)
Hello! I’m Jean Williams; I’ve been the PF London District Manager for the last four years, but I’ve been involved with the PF for 21 years! In that time, I’ve held many posts, including a year as President during the ritual child abuse scam of the early ‘90s, several years as PF Secretary and even more helping to run the central database. I’ve seen the PF grow from a small dedicated group of around 300 Pagans, mainly Wiccans, to an organisation of several thousand with members from every Pagan Path, all with the same aim in view: to promote and defend the Pagan Traditions. My vision for PF London is that it should be a strong and vibrant District that serves the Pagan community and also enhances the interface between Pagans and the wider society, promoting understanding and interaction.
As the seat of government and the location for the headquarters of many official, commercial and religious bodies, there are so many opportunities for PF London to further the aims of the PF. I’m now in my eighties and plan to retire soon and leave the next stage in the hands of those who can Twitter, understand FaceBook and have the energy to carry the work forward. We have developed a wonderfully strong PFL team and are looking for more enthusiastic Pagans to get involved. It’s challenging – but it is very rewarding and enormous FUN!

PFL Regional Coordinator (SE London)
Hello, I’m Liz and I am the Regional Coordinator for South East London. I took over the role just over a year ago and am enjoying being able to help out and being in touch with Pagan Federation members in my region.
Introducing myself, I’m a solitary pagan/hedgewitch whose main focus is on following the seasons of the year, celebrating the festivals and developing my spiritual understanding of nature around me. I’m interested in herbs for magic and healing and I have the intention of learning more about shamanism and journeying some time soon. I’m also interested in folklore and the history of London/Britain. I come from the countryside originally and love to get out and about in nature whenever possible. I’ve been a member of the PF for quite a few years now and usually make it to PF events. I also enjoy going to folk events such as the Twelfth Night celebrations at the Globe and the various May Day shenanigans. I live with my husband, with whom I was handfasted last year.
I have a job which tends to take me out of London, or make me work long hours with little or no notice, which means I am sadly having to focus mainly on the admin side of the Regional Coordinator role, so if there is anyone in the South East of London who might be interested in starting some kind of members meeting, or perhaps meetings at festivals, walks, pagan book group, etc, please get in touch. I will help out with events whenever possible. I’d be grateful for all thoughts and inspiration. The email address is pflondonsoutheast@gmail.com
