PFL Open Ritual 2011
PFL  Spring Equinox Open Ritual in Central London.

Thursday 22nd March  2012.

Pre-ritual gathering: 7.30pm. Ritual start.  8pm. Feasting & Social: 9pm-10pm.  Venue: Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn.  Entrance fee:  PF members/conc £5.  All others £6). Please also bring seasonal food /home made food & drinks to share at feast after ritual.

Spring equinox is a time of new beginning and initiating enterprises. A time of reaching balance between Dark & Light.. day &  night. It is a time of noticeable lengthening of day-light hours and quickening.  We have a special treat once more – Romuva- a Lithuanian Pagan group in London- have been researching and resurrecting many of their old folklore and pagan rituals and customs, and are facilitating this Spring open ritual. Expect grace, beauty, songs & dance to enchant us all.

PF London Open Rituals-  what to expect (also read FAQ)

All people with an interest in Paganism are welcome to attend. See our Guide/ FAQ below.

Venue / Time/ Fee: PFL Open Rituals take place indoors, at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, Holborn. A different `Group or Ritual team’ facilitates each ritual (over seen by PF London).  Usually on a Thursday evening (dates on the right).  Entrance is £5 (for PF members & concessions) /£6 for all others.  Arrive at 7.30pm for pre-ritual socials. Ritual starts at 8pm and usually concludes before 9pm.  Bring a little food & drink to share at Social afterwards.. between 9pm- 10pm.

Bringing Children/others: Some events are suitable for children, if accompanied by a parent or responsible guardian (please check publicity for which events are suitable- before coming).

Nature of Open Rituals: The Open seasonal Rituals are friendly and informal, catering for both beginners and experienced pagans.  Each ritual is different, often giving an insight into the variety of pagan religions and paths. There is usually a participation aspect to these rituals - but it is entirely voluntary. Beginner may wish to attend a few and observe, make friends before they become comfortable in full participation. You will usually have time afterwards to socialise with others, while enjoying the feast (food & drinks). Feel free to bring some food/drinks to share.

Entrance Fees & Volunteers:  The fees we collect helps towards booking & running costs. These Open Rituals are run entirely by volunteers (all PF Officers are volunteers!), and the ritual groups who come to facilitate rituals give their time freely to the Community.
